TOOLROOM MACHINIST/IMPROVER

Required for repair/maintenance of pierce/cut-off press tools.

Able to: - Use toolroom machinery

                Read engineering drawings.

                Work on own initiative.

                Work in a team environment.

                Auto-cad knowledge an advantage but not essential

The role is ideal for someone looking to improve to toolmaking & design work.

Driving licence recommended.

We need someone who is a team player with an open mind, a good work ethic, willing to get stuck in & bring knowledge to the company. You will need to have good organisational skills & work well under pressure. Most importantly you will need to work safely, in accordance with Health & Safety legislation.

The hours are 08:00-16:00 Monday to Thursday & 08:00-15:00 Fridays, including a 30-minute dinner break. 39 hours per week total.

Salary per year will be dependent on experience.
